A technology partner built
for Africa’s trade corridors
Keshi Holdings Limited is a Kenyan technology services company. We deliver modular, enterprise-grade digital platforms to government agencies and private logistics operators across East and Central Africa.
Our work helps revenue authorities and customs administrations replace legacy, paper-bound processes with agile, data-driven systems. Electronic cargo tracking and fleet management sit at the centre of the portfolio. Around them we have built aviation, container guarantee and clearing-and-forwarding platforms.
Every platform rests on vendor neutrality and open integration. Agile and DevOps delivery keeps release cycles short and lets deployments scale from a single corridor to a national network.
Deployment is only half the job. We set up local maintenance centres, run training programmes and provide round-the-clock support, so each system stays productive long after go-live.
Our technical leadership brings decades of combined experience in logistics and software engineering. Close working relationships with public institutions and industry players across the continent keep our products tied to conditions on the ground.

Vision, mission and
the way we work
Each market we serve has its own operational hurdles. Our job is to take complex processes and make them simple, secure and fit for local conditions.
Five reasons clients appoint us
Deep technical expertise
Pan-African coverage
Flexible, modular architecture
End-to-end security
Collaborative implementation
Technology with local insight, built as a partnership
Our mission at Keshi Holdings Limited is clear. We champion Africa’s digital transformation by pairing innovative technology with deep knowledge of the markets we serve. Each market has its own operational hurdles, and we take it as our duty to simplify complex processes with solutions that are robust, secure and tailored to the client.
That principle comes from a commitment to sustainable growth for the clients we serve as much as for our own company.
We do more than deliver technology. We build partnerships. Our teams work alongside stakeholders so every solution reflects realities on the ground. That means agile development, localised products and thorough training that leaves lasting value behind.
We judge ourselves by the impact we create. Operational metrics and transaction counts matter, but the real test is whether we have cut inefficiency, removed unnecessary cost and opened new revenue for clients across the continent.
Choosing Keshi means choosing a partner invested in your success, ready to deliver secure, scalable and forward-looking solutions that turn challenges into opportunities. I invite you to explore our portfolio and join us in reshaping the continent’s digital landscape.
How we are organised
Keshi Holdings Limited is the operating and contracting company. Its platforms sit in three business lines. For the Kenyan eSeal framework it leads a joint venture with Leavitt Holdings Limited, which holds the telecommunications licence.

Seven platforms.
One digital Africa.
Mission-critical infrastructure for governments and enterprises, from KRA-approved cargo seals on the Northern Corridor to airline cockpits.
Electronic Cargo
Tracking System
Our flagship ECTS gives revenue authorities and logistics operators real-time cargo monitoring, route control and strong security across African trade corridors. It runs on an open-source stack, which keeps it vendor-neutral and straightforward to connect with customs platforms, logistics networks and third-party systems.
It is the platform behind our KRA approval and our national customs deployment in the DRC.
An integrated ecosystem in three layers
Physical layer
IoT sensors, cargo eSeals and fuel eSeals that report lock status, location and tamper events.
Verification layer
Automated checkpoints with RFID readers and OCR cameras that match truck, container and seal to the manifest.
Digital layer
A central platform with AI anomaly detection, predictive analytics and a blockchain-backed audit trail.
Key technical components
Seals for every kind of cargo
Container and tanker monitoring are separate products with separate certification. We carry both, so a mixed fleet runs on one contract, one portal and one escalation line.
The right device for each load type
High-tensile bolt eSeals
For standard containers, with active RFID for green-lane gate processing at ports.
Long-rope active seals
Loop the full lashing perimeter of canvas and soft-sided trucks, closing off side access.
Electronic nets
Wrap and monitor breakbulk and out-of-gauge cargo such as machinery and steel coils.
Fleet Management
Solutions
Our Integrated Fleet Management System (IFMS) is a high-availability platform that aggregates data from multiple GPS service providers and links into wider Integrated Transport Management Systems. Fleet owners and government agencies get real-time tracking, analytics and reporting from one dashboard, with gains in efficiency, safety and cost.
Tracking & GPS integration
- Live vehicle positions on interactive maps
- Geo-fenced routes with deviation alerts
- Historical route playback
Analytics & reporting
- Custom real-time reports and dashboards
- Fuel consumption and anomaly tracking
- Speeding, harsh braking and idling scores
Enterprise integration
- Enterprise Service Bus to external systems
- Ministry transport platforms, TMS and ERP
- Insurance and compliance monitoring
Security & access
- RBAC with multi-factor authentication
- Tamper-proof tracking devices
- Encrypted data transmission
RFID monitoring (optional)
- Automated check-in and check-out
- RFID-tagged shipment tracking
- Theft alerts at controlled points
Maintenance & compliance
- Scheduled servicing to cut downtime
- National and cross-border rule tracking
- Digital logbooks and automatic trip logs
Map-based location monitoring
Operators see every vehicle against its planned route, with alerts for unauthorised use, maintenance due dates and security breaches pushed to nominated staff.
Aviation, containers and
trade compliance
The same engineering discipline behind our cargo seals now runs flight operations, container guarantees and customs agent workflows.
Aviation Cargo Tracking
Electronic seals rated for air cargo, built to the same customs-compliance standard as the road corridor. They deliver customs-ready documentation, consignment tracking and integrity checks, with multi-party visibility for airlines, handlers and authorities.
Advanced Aviation Flight Management
A cloud-native, web-based platform that brings airline and flight operations into one environment.
Container Guarantee Platform
In developmentDigital container release requests and deposit handling for shipping lines, CFS operators and clearing agents. Live GPS, geofencing and three-source claims verification, integrated with Viaservice.
Clearing & Forwarding Digitisation
For C&F associationsOTP-gated customs entries, revenue authority API integration, real-time tax remittance and agent accreditation in a single workflow that protects revenue.
Cargo Surveillance Reporting
Deployed for SSRAReal-time alert, incident and revenue-assurance reporting for revenue authorities, giving management a single view of corridor risk and collections.
Shared foundations
Blockchain-verified audit trails
Standards-based interoperability
Predictive risk detection
Government and enterprise grade
Compliance without
ownership
Keshi acts as the technology underwriter. We own the devices, manage their lifecycle and carry the risk. Clients use the service to move cargo and pay only when trucks move.
Pay-per-move
One flat fee per trip covers hardware, data and upkeep. Idle trucks cost nothing.
Signal guarantee
Dual-SIM failover and store-and-forward buffering leave no gaps in the audit trail.
Swap, don’t repair
Battery levels are watched fleet-wide and weak units swapped at a hub before they fail.
Dual-feed data
Compliance data goes to the authority. Operational data goes to the client’s private dashboard.
Corridor passport
One seal from Kenya into Uganda, Rwanda, South Sudan and the DRC. No reseal at borders.
| Dimension | Own and manage assets | Keshi Tracking as a Service |
|---|---|---|
| Capital | Upfront purchase of seals and spares | Trip-aligned operating cost |
| Failures | Repairs and technician logistics; truck grounded | Swap protocol at corridor hubs |
| Technology risk | Obsolescence and refresh cycles | Keshi-owned devices and lifecycle |
| Connectivity | Client manages data contracts | SLA-backed multi-network service |
Built for African corridors, phase by phase
Capacity positioned
before demand
A seal is fitted by a person at a gate and replaced by a person who drives to the truck. Response time is a function of distance, so our network sits where cargo moves.
